Having a Health+ account will not automatically give you access to the entire patient database.

To find a patient in the Health+ system and access their demographic and/or medical data, they must have an accepted appointment with you or have shared their medical profile with you.

If the patient shows up without an appointment, you can find him in the Health+ system by email address or phone number and manually create an appointment / appointment. In this case, the patient will receive an e-mail and will have to confirm sharing the information with you. You will not have access to patient information (other than email address) until confirmation, but the appointment can continue and confirmation in the Health+ system can be done by the patient afterwards.

Your data is stored in databases located on the servers of our partner Cloud Provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS has a secure system and adheres to industry security standards such as:

• SOC 1 and SOC 2/SSAE 16/ISAE 3402 (Previously SAS 70 Type II)
• PCI Level 1
• FISMA Moderate
• Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)

Yes, the data is encrypted while at rest (on the AWS server) and in transit (between the Health+ app and the AWS server), which means that no third party (including AWS) has access to this data at any time.

Health+ does not share your data with third parties without explicit consent. In addition to you, the healthcare provider (eg the doctor you visited and his staff) has automatic access to the data. You can choose to share your data with other people, such as:

• Other healthcare providers in the Health+ system
• Another Health+ user such as a relative or someone responsible for your health.

Yes, you can submit a request to export data from the system in different formats such as JSON or CSV.

Yes, you can close your Health+ account and opt to delete or anonymize your data. For security and fraud prevention reasons, not all data can be deleted - healthcare providers need certain data to have a record of services provided. To re-open your Health+ account and re-import your data, please contact us.
